You can check membership revenue in YouTube Studio by opening Analytics → Revenue → How you make money → Memberships. Select the period you need, then review the membership breakdown and transaction information.

That report is generally channel-level, not a dependable earnings statement for one continuous 24/7 broadcast. YouTube’s current documentation does not establish a definitive membership revenue figure attributable solely to one live stream, so use the report to describe channel membership earnings rather than claiming that the stream generated a particular amount.

Find the membership report in Studio

Sign in to the YouTube account that manages your channel and open YouTube Studio. On a computer, choose Analytics from the left-hand menu, then select Revenue. In the section headed How you make money, choose Memberships.

The wording or position of these controls may differ slightly between accounts. YouTube has been gradually rolling out an updated Analytics experience since July 2026, and some reports may not appear in the same place on mobile. If a filter or card is missing, use Studio in a desktop browser before concluding that the data is unavailable.

The relevant path is:

  1. Open YouTube Studio.
  2. Select Analytics.
  3. Open Revenue.
  4. Find How you make money.
  5. Select Memberships.
  6. Choose the date range you want to inspect.

You do not need a third-party dashboard for this documented check. The official YouTube memberships guidance is the appropriate place to confirm the current report names and eligibility rules if your Studio layout differs.

There is also an Earn → Memberships area. That view is useful for checking the membership programme itself, including revenue for the last billing period and a comparison with the previous billing period. It answers a slightly different question from the custom-range report in Analytics.

Open Analytics and select Revenue

The Revenue area can show several kinds of information, and they should not be treated as interchangeable. The Memberships report concerns earnings from the channel’s membership programme. It is not the same as the number of people who currently have access to membership perks, and it is not the same as the number of membership transactions.

For a membership-revenue check, start with the report labelled Memberships under How you make money. Record the selected date range before copying the figure into a spreadsheet or monthly report. A number without its period can be misleading, particularly when you compare a billing-period figure with a calendar-month figure.

The Transactions Revenue card can provide a higher-level count of membership transactions for the selected period. YouTube describes transactions as new sign-ups or recurring transactions. A transaction count is not a payment balance, an active-member count, or proof that each transaction came from viewers of the 24/7 broadcast.

For example, suppose a channel has a devotional stream running continuously and also publishes recorded bhajans. A new member may have discovered the channel through a recorded video, a search result, a community post, or the live broadcast. The channel report can record the membership transaction, but that alone does not identify which piece of content caused the decision.

If you are checking activity rather than revenue, use Analytics → Audience → Total Member. The detailed view can distinguish total and active members, members gained, members cancelled, and members who are lost after their cancelled billing period ends. These figures help you understand the membership base, but they do not replace the Revenue report.

Gift memberships need separate care. The Memberships Type report can show gifted and redeemed membership counts for the selected period. A gifted-membership count should not be added casually to recurring paid transactions or read as a direct equivalent of the revenue figure.

Choose the period and membership breakdown

Set a custom date range that matches the question you are asking. If you are reviewing a month of channel operations, select that month. If you are comparing the period before and after starting a 24/7 stream, record both date ranges and keep the comparison descriptive. A change in channel membership revenue does not by itself demonstrate that the continuous stream caused the change.

The Analytics figure is an estimated report and may not be final. YouTube says revenue takes two days to appear in Analytics, and estimated figures may later change because of adjustments. For that reason, avoid treating yesterday’s figure as a settled amount or comparing a newly ended period with a fully finalised one without noting the difference.

The separate Memberships area refers to the last billing period. That billing period can be 28, 30, or 31 days depending on the calendar month. It can therefore differ from a custom Analytics range, even when the dates seem close. Write down whether your figure came from the last billing period or from a custom date range.

Finalised earnings for the previous month are added to the AdSense for YouTube account balance between the 7th and 12th of the following month, according to YouTube’s guidance. The amount shown in AdSense can differ from an Analytics estimate, including where tax withholding applies. Treat AdSense as the place to check finalised earnings rather than using an early Analytics estimate as the final payment record.

YouTube says creators get 70% of membership revenue after applicable taxes and fees are deducted, and that it currently covers transaction costs. If your channel belongs to an MCN, the network may take an additional share. Check the terms attached to your own channel and MCN agreement rather than assuming that the general creator-share description is the amount you will receive.

For an India-based channel, the fact that India appears on YouTube’s memberships availability list establishes location availability, not automatic access for every creator. The channel still needs to meet the relevant fan-funding, policy, and programme requirements. Memberships may not appear in Studio until the channel is eligible and the feature has been made available to it.

Use format filters carefully

The membership documentation says the revenue breakdown can be filtered by video format. That can be useful when Studio presents a clearly labelled format view for your account. Select the available format filter, note exactly what it says, and preserve the date range alongside the result.

Do not assume that a format label means the report is attributing every membership payment to one particular broadcast. A format category can describe how content is classified in Analytics, while the membership transaction itself may have followed a viewer’s wider experience of the channel.

The distinction becomes especially important for a 24/7 stream. A channel might have one continuous live broadcast, several archived live replays, Shorts, long-form uploads, and posts. A viewer can encounter the channel in one place and join after interacting with another. Unless Studio provides a clearly labelled and supported breakdown that answers the precise question, the safer description is the one supported by the report: membership revenue for the channel or for the displayed format and period.

Keep your reporting notes factual. You might write, “Memberships revenue shown in Analytics for the channel, 1–30 September,” or, if the interface gives you a supported format result, “Memberships revenue shown for the selected video format, 1–30 September.” Avoid writing, “The overnight stream earned this amount,” unless the report explicitly establishes that attribution.

A format filter is also not a substitute for the Live analytics view. Live analytics can help you inspect views, watch time, concurrent viewers, and chat activity. Those performance measures can show how the broadcast behaved, but they do not turn all channel membership revenue into revenue caused by that broadcast.

If you are preparing a stream for a new channel, a test checklist for an Indian music YouTube stream can help you separate technical readiness from later revenue analysis. Those are different stages: first confirm that the stream runs and is presented correctly, then interpret the figures Studio actually supplies.

Why a stream-only total may not be available

YouTube’s live metrics guidance states that interaction reports and revenue reports are not available when Analytics is filtered for Live. That is the key limitation for this question. The memberships documentation describes a membership revenue breakdown and a video-format filter, but the live-specific documentation does not promise a membership-revenue total for one continuous live broadcast.

In practical terms, you may be able to measure the live stream’s audience and engagement while viewing its live metrics, and separately view channel Memberships revenue in Revenue Analytics. Those two reports should not be joined together as though they were two parts of a per-stream accounting report.

This means you should not use the stream’s watch time, concurrent viewers, or chat messages to allocate a portion of channel membership revenue. For example, a stream with many concurrent viewers may coincide with new memberships, but coincidence does not establish that those viewers made the payments or that the payments can be assigned exclusively to the stream.

It also means that a 24/7 broadcast creates a particularly difficult attribution problem. There may be no natural beginning or end for a viewer’s exposure to the content. A member might watch for a few minutes, return several days later, see a replay, or join after visiting another part of the channel. The continuous schedule makes audience measurement useful, but it does not create a separate membership ledger.

The official live-stream metrics documentation should be checked when YouTube changes the available filters or report wording. If your current Studio account displays a new, clearly labelled membership breakdown, describe only what that view actually measures. Do not turn a newly visible filter into a claim that YouTube has confirmed per-broadcast attribution.

For creators who want to reduce the practical burden of watching a computer overnight, StreamNeo removes the need to keep the local streaming machine running and gives you a way to upload the file once, add the YouTube stream key, and have the broadcast monitored and restarted if it drops. That can address continuity, but it does not change what YouTube’s revenue reports can attribute.

Report channel figures responsibly

A useful report separates scope, measure, period, and status. Scope tells the reader whether the figure is for the whole channel, a supported format view, or a particular report card. Measure tells the reader whether it is revenue, transactions, or members. Period tells the reader which dates or billing period were used. Status tells the reader whether the figure is an Analytics estimate or a finalised AdSense amount.

What you are checking Where to look What it tells you What it does not prove
Membership revenue Analytics → Revenue → How you make money → Memberships Estimated membership earnings for the selected report scope and period That one 24/7 broadcast caused the earnings
Membership transactions Transactions Revenue card New sign-ups or recurring transactions for the selected period The number of active members or a final payment balance
Member activity Analytics → Audience → Total Member Total, active, gained, cancelled, and lost member activity The revenue earned by the stream
Gifted memberships Memberships Type report Gifted and redeemed membership counts for the selected period A direct equivalent of recurring membership revenue
Last billing-period result Earn → Memberships Membership programme information and the last billing-period revenue A custom calendar-month figure or stream-only result
Finalised earnings AdSense for YouTube Finalised previous-month earnings when posted A live estimate for the current reporting period

A simple monthly record can include the report name, selected dates, displayed scope, estimated revenue, transaction count, active-member figure, and the date on which you checked it. Add a note if the stream was live for the whole period, but phrase that as context rather than causation.

For example: “The channel ran a continuous devotional broadcast during the period. Analytics showed channel Memberships revenue of the displayed amount for the selected dates. Studio did not establish how much, if any, of that revenue came solely from the broadcast.” This is more defensible than reporting the channel total as “stream membership income”.

If you compare periods, keep other changes visible. A new membership tier, a change in content, a promotion, a change in upload frequency, a long interruption, or a different audience mix can affect the result. The report can tell you what was recorded for the channel; it cannot by itself explain every reason the number changed.

You should also keep membership revenue separate from advertising revenue, Super Chat, Super Stickers, and other monetisation categories. A viewer can support the channel in more than one way, and a combined total can obscure which report supplied each amount.

If a channel has an MCN, record the gross or displayed figure and the actual amount received separately only when your agreement and payment records make that distinction clear. Do not infer the final amount from the general 70% statement when applicable taxes, fees, withholding, or network terms may affect it.

Build a repeatable review routine

Choose one review day and use the same date convention each time. For a calendar-month review, wait long enough for the relevant Analytics data to appear, then mark the report as estimated until the corresponding earnings are finalised. This prevents a late transaction or later adjustment from being mistaken for a reporting error.

Save a screenshot or export where Studio allows it, but keep the written note more important than the image. Your note should say which account was used, which report was opened, the selected dates, and whether a format filter was active. If the interface changes, the note will still explain what the number meant when you recorded it.

Check the live metrics separately. You can review whether the broadcast stayed connected, whether viewers were present, and whether chat activity changed at particular times. If the stream drops, a YouTube stream health check stuck on “Checking” guide may help with the technical investigation, but a reconnect does not create a separate membership-revenue event.

For long-running channels, keep the content and rights records alongside the Analytics notes. A 24/7 loop may contain music, devotional material, local announcements, or other content with different permissions. The guide to whether YouTube allows prerecorded 24/7 live streams is relevant to the operating question, while YouTube Studio remains the source for the account’s actual membership reports.

Before committing, compare the operating options on the pricing page. When the file and channel are ready, start free — 24-hour trial, no card.

FAQ

Does YouTube show membership revenue for one 24/7 live stream?

YouTube’s documented reports do not establish a definitive membership revenue figure attributable solely to one continuous broadcast. You can review channel Memberships revenue and separate live performance metrics, but do not present the channel figure as income caused by that stream.

Is YouTube channel membership available in India?

India is included on YouTube’s current memberships availability list. Availability does not mean every channel is automatically eligible, so check the current eligibility, policy, and programme requirements in YouTube Studio and the official Help documentation.

What is the difference between members, transactions, and revenue?

Members describe the membership base and its activity. Transactions refer to new sign-ups or recurring transactions, while revenue is the earnings figure shown in the relevant report. These measures cover related but different questions and should not be substituted for one another.

When should I trust the amount as final?

Analytics revenue is estimated and may take two days to appear or later change after adjustments. YouTube says finalised previous-month earnings are added to the AdSense for YouTube balance between the 7th and 12th of the following month, although the final amount can differ from the Analytics estimate.
