If you run a 24/7 YouTube livestream, download revenue data from YouTube Studio Analytics by opening a suitable report in Advanced Mode or See More and choosing Export current view. The important limitation is that YouTube says revenue reports are unavailable when Analytics is filtered to Live, so do not expect a revenue CSV from that Live-only view.

For most channel owners, Studio Analytics is the relevant route, and its Revenue tab is for YouTube Partner Program creators. Content Manager partners have a distinct route for finalized reports. Neither route is a special 24/7 livestream workflow: choose the report for the question you need answered and keep its scope clear.

Choose a report that matches your question

Before downloading anything, decide whether you need an estimate of channel or video earnings, a view of livestream performance, or a finalized financial report. Those are different questions, and a CSV is only useful if its scope and status match what you intend to do with it.

The Revenue tab in YouTube Analytics helps eligible creators review earnings at channel or video level. If you are checking how a channel is doing over a period, a channel-level view may fit. If you want to inspect a particular video, choose its analytics view instead. A continuously live broadcast does not create a separately documented export route; YouTube’s guidance describes the ordinary Analytics views and live-stream metrics.

A performance export is not automatically a revenue export. YouTube documents downloadable CSVs for live-stream metrics, but separately notes that revenue reports are unavailable when the Analytics filter is set to Live. If you want a broader explanation of income considerations for a devotional station, see how to monetise a devotional 24/7 channel respectfully. That context is useful, but it does not change which reports Studio makes available.

Route Who can use it What it is for Important constraint
YouTube Studio Analytics YouTube Partner Program creators for the Revenue tab Channel- or video-level earnings views and configurable exports Revenue reports are not available with Analytics filtered to Live; Studio downloads are limited to 500 rows
Studio Content Manager Reports Content Manager partners Finalized report CSVs, including financial reports Separate partner access; generated reports are available for 60 days

These distinctions also help with timing. Analytics earnings are estimates that update daily with an approximately two-day delay, while finalized figures appear later. Content Manager partners should use the report route rather than treating an Analytics estimate as a settlement statement. YouTube can change labels and report availability, so check the current Help guidance before relying on a particular field or date range.

Open YouTube Studio Analytics

Sign in to the YouTube Studio account that owns or manages the channel, then choose Analytics from the left-hand menu. Confirm that you are working in the right channel before exporting. This simple check matters if you manage a devotional channel alongside a business, a lofi station or a local news loop under separate channel identities.

If you are a YouTube Partner Program creator and the question concerns earnings, open Revenue. YouTube makes that tab available at channel and video level to eligible creators. The overview can help you inspect estimated earnings and related metrics, but it should not be treated as a finalized statement. The YouTube Analytics overview explains the general Analytics views and the Revenue tab.

Select the channel or video scope that matches the question, then check the date range displayed. For example, if you are comparing how a channel’s revenue view changed between two calendar periods, use the relevant channel-level Analytics view and write down the dates. If you are checking a particular uploaded video, use its video-level view. Do not assume that selecting a livestream in a Live filter is equivalent to selecting a video-level revenue report; YouTube documents a specific availability limitation for the Live filter.

Some channel owners are not in the YouTube Partner Program, or do not have Revenue visible for the account they are using. In that case, do not infer a revenue amount from watch time, concurrent viewers or a live-performance CSV. Check the channel’s eligibility and the account permissions, and use the current official documentation to confirm which data is available to you.

Use Advanced Mode or See More

From the relevant Analytics report, open Advanced Mode or See More. The exact interface wording can vary, but this is the route to a more configurable report. You can inspect dimensions and metrics, adjust the date range and prepare the view you want to download. YouTube’s instructions for Advanced mode analytics reports describe the process and export control.

Take a moment to read the report title and the selected dimensions before changing anything. A table of revenue by date answers a different question from one grouped by content, and a channel-wide view answers a different question from a video-specific one. Your export should retain enough context that, when you open it later, you know which channel, dates and report scope it represents.

Apply only filters that preserve the data you need. If you set the view to Live, YouTube’s live-stream metrics guidance says that interaction and revenue reports are unavailable with that filter. Some people see a notice asking them to switch to Live & on demand or a different report. Treat that message as a report-availability boundary, not as a prompt to export the same data from another button.

If your purpose is to understand operational performance during a broadcast, Live metrics may still be useful. If your purpose is earnings, return to a supported Revenue view and make the broader scope explicit. It is better to download a correctly scoped channel or video report than to label a non-revenue performance export as livestream revenue. For practical background on the mechanics of a continuous broadcast, how to loop pre-recorded videos on YouTube Live with FFmpeg covers a different task: keeping the programme running, not reporting earnings.

Export the current view

Once the report is configured, choose Export current view and select one of the file formats offered in Studio. The export represents the report currently on screen, including its chosen scope and settings; it is not a separate universal account statement. Save the file with a descriptive name and retain the date range and report type in your own notes.

Studio downloads are limited to 500 rows. If the result exceeds that, YouTube points to the Reporting API as an option for retrieving larger reports. That does not mean every creator can retrieve every Analytics field through the API, or that using it bypasses report eligibility. Check the YouTube documentation on data and performance measurement tools for the current description of available tools and access.

For a practical record, note the channel, whether you chose channel or video scope, the report name, the date range and whether the values are estimated or finalized. If you are comparing successive exports, keep the same scope and period definitions. Otherwise, a difference might come from a changed filter rather than a change in earnings.

After the download, open the CSV or spreadsheet and check that the headings and date range match what you expected. Do not assume that every row represents a separate livestream or every earnings amount maps neatly to a single broadcast. Analytics is organised around its available reports and dimensions; the fact that your stream stayed on continuously does not establish that YouTube supplies a distinct row or report for the 24/7 session.

Why a Live-only filter can block revenue reports

The Live filter is the main trap in this workflow. YouTube’s live-stream metrics page says interaction reports and revenue reports are unavailable when Analytics is filtered to Live. You may still see performance metrics for the stream and be able to download a CSV, but that file does not thereby become a revenue report. Consult YouTube’s live-stream metrics guidance for the distinction.

If the interface displays a message that the data is unavailable by live/on demand, follow the stated report limitation. Switching to Live & on demand or choosing a different report may make another view available, but it changes the view’s scope. Do not describe its figures as revenue attributable only to the live broadcast unless the report itself supports that conclusion.

This matters particularly for a 24/7 channel. A creator may naturally want to know what one continuous programme earned, but the official guidance reviewed does not define a special revenue export for always-on streams. A channel-level Revenue export may include more than the live content, while a Live performance export may omit revenue. Keep those facts separate in your notes, and avoid dividing channel earnings by stream hours or assigning them to a broadcast without a report that supports the calculation.

Estimated earnings also need care. YouTube says Analytics estimates update daily with an approximately two-day delay, and they do not reflect invalid-activity adjustments in real time. Later finalized figures can therefore differ. For creators, finalized earnings typically appear in Analytics after payment is added to AdSense for YouTube, between the 7th and 12th of the following month. See how to check YouTube Analytics data for the distinction between estimates and later figures, and consult current official guidance for timing.

A useful routine is to save an estimate when you need a working view, label it as estimated, and revisit the figures after finalization if you need a settled record. Do not quietly replace one with the other in a bookkeeping sheet: keep the export date and status visible. That lets you explain why a number changed without implying that the channel’s live performance report and its finalized earnings report are the same dataset.

Download finalized reports in Content Manager

This route is for Content Manager partners, not every creator or channel owner. If your account has Studio Content Manager access, sign in there and select Reports. Choose the report type and a Weekly or Monthly view, then select the report version you need. Click the report name to download its CSV.

YouTube says generated Content Manager reports remain available for 60 days. Financial reports are usually published between the 10th and 14th of each month. These reports are intended for partner reporting and are distinct from the normal creator’s Analytics export. The Content Manager report download guide gives the current procedure and details.

Do not use this route as a workaround if Reports is absent from your Studio account. Content Manager access is a partner capability, and its report catalogue and permissions are not available to every channel. If you do not have that access, use the regular Studio Analytics workflow where eligible and base your export on an available report.

Need Appropriate route What to keep in mind
Working earnings view for an eligible channel or video YouTube Studio Analytics Revenue view Estimated data can change before finalization
Live-stream performance metrics Live-stream Analytics view Metrics export does not establish revenue availability
Finalized partner financial CSV Studio Content Manager Reports, if your account has access Reports are retained for 60 days and follow the partner report schedule

For a channel that mainly loops one video, operational continuity and report attribution remain separate questions. How to keep a YouTube lofi stream playing when a track ends discusses the playback side; it cannot resolve which revenue report YouTube makes available. Keep the financial workflow anchored in the report screen and permissions you can actually access.

Before committing, compare the operating options on the pricing page. When the file and channel are ready, start free — 24-hour trial, no card.

FAQ

Can I export a revenue CSV with the Live filter selected?

Do not count on it. YouTube says revenue reports are unavailable when Analytics is filtered to Live, even though live-stream performance metrics may be downloadable. Choose an available Revenue view and describe its actual scope instead.

Why does my downloaded report show estimated earnings?

The Revenue view uses estimated Analytics earnings, which update daily with an approximately two-day delay. Invalid-activity adjustments are not reflected in real time, so later finalized figures may differ. Keep the export labelled as an estimate until the figures are finalized.

Do all creators have the Content Manager Reports route?

No. It is a separate route for accounts with Studio Content Manager access. If you do not see Reports there, follow the standard Studio Analytics workflow available to your channel rather than assuming you have partner reporting access.

What if my Studio export has more than 500 rows?

YouTube limits Studio downloads to 500 rows and documents the Reporting API for retrieving larger reports. Review the current API documentation and confirm that the report and data you need are available to your account before building a workflow around it.
