Streamlabs Talk Studio currently lists two paid plans on its English plans page: Standard at $9 per month or $90 billed yearly, and Pro at $17 per month or $145 billed yearly. The annual figures are also shown as monthly equivalents, but they are annual charges rather than twelve separate monthly payments.

The listed figures and included features can change, and they should not be treated as guaranteed checkout charges. Your final price may depend on the page, currency and billing details shown when you subscribe, so check the current offer before paying.

Current listed prices at a glance

The clearest way to read the plans is to separate the billing frequency from the displayed monthly equivalent. Standard is listed at $9 for monthly billing, while its annual option is $90 for the year and is displayed as $7.50 per month equivalent. Pro is listed at $17 for monthly billing, while its annual option is $145 for the year and is displayed as $12 per month equivalent.

These figures are the prices displayed on Streamlabs' English plans page, researched on 3 October 2026. For dated price attribution, they are as listed on Streamlabs' site in September 2026. They describe the offer shown on that page, not a promise about what your own checkout will display.

Plan Monthly billing shown Annual billing shown Displayed monthly equivalent Main published difference
Standard $9 per month $90 per year $7.50 per month 720p output and one destination
Pro $17 per month $145 per year $12 per month 1080p output and unlimited destinations

The annual options are presented as discounted compared with paying monthly for a full year. The arithmetic is straightforward: Standard's annual amount is lower than twelve monthly Standard payments, and Pro's annual amount is lower than twelve monthly Pro payments. That does not mean the displayed monthly equivalent is the amount charged each month. It is a way of expressing an annual total.

Streamlabs' current page also advertises a free seven-day trial. The exact wording, payment flow and availability should be checked on the plan page and at checkout rather than inferred from an older screenshot or a search result. You can review the current offer on the official Talk Studio plans page.

What Standard includes

Standard is the lower-priced plan, but it is not simply a short-term demonstration of Talk Studio. The published table gives it a defined set of limits that may be enough for a straightforward show, interview or recorded presentation.

The output resolution is listed as 720p, and the plan allows streaming to one destination. That distinction matters if you only send a programme to one YouTube channel. It matters less if you plan to send the same live show to YouTube and other platforms at the same time, because the published Standard limit is one destination.

Standard allows up to five guests and up to three co-host seats. Those are different planning questions. A guest may be someone appearing in the programme, while a co-host seat concerns the people helping to operate or participate in the studio. If your format involves a presenter, a producer and several recurring contributors, count the people who need access rather than assuming the guest limit covers every role.

For recording, Standard lists up to four hours per track for recording and up to four hours per track for local recording. Recording storage is listed as 15 days. A four-hour track limit is not the same as indefinite storage, so decide whether you need to download material promptly after a session or whether the online copy is sufficient for your workflow.

The Standard table lists unlimited branding. It also lists media uploads of up to 150 MB for an intro and prerecorded streams of up to one hour. Those two figures are easy to overlook. A short branded opening may fit within the intro allowance, but a longer prerecorded segment must fit the listed duration and file-size conditions shown by Streamlabs.

Standard also lists no watermark, unlimited streaming, multiple cameras, custom RTMP destinations, sound effects and disconnection protection. These are published inclusions, not a guarantee that every camera, network or destination will behave in the same way. Your actual result will still depend on the source material, browser, connection and destination account.

For a single-destination 720p programme with modest guest and recording requirements, Standard may be the sensible starting point. It is particularly easy to assess when you can state the workflow in one sentence: one destination, a small presenting team, sessions below four hours and no need for 1080p output.

What Pro adds

Pro is listed at $17 per month or $145 billed yearly, with the annual option displayed as a $12 per month equivalent. Its most visible upgrade is 1080p output rather than Standard's listed 720p. If your source video, graphics and viewing context benefit from the higher output resolution, this is the first published difference to examine.

The destination limit is also different. Pro lists unlimited streaming destinations, while Standard lists one. Talk Studio's feature page describes multistreaming to platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, X, Kick and LinkedIn. The number of destinations you actually use will depend on your accounts and the current product flow, but the plan comparison makes the intended distinction clear.

Pro allows up to 11 guests and up to five co-host seats. That gives a larger discussion, panel or teaching format more room before the published limits become the immediate constraint. It does not mean every participant will have the same role or that a bigger guest limit automatically improves the programme. It means you have more capacity for the format.

The recording limits are higher as well. Pro lists up to 10 hours per track for recording and up to 10 hours per track for local recording, with storage listed as 30 days. That may suit long classes, conferences, interviews or broadcasts where you need more time to retrieve and organise the files.

Media upload allowances are listed as 300 MB for the intro and two hours for prerecorded streams. Pro also lists unlimited branding, no watermark, unlimited streaming, multiple cameras, custom RTMP destinations, sound effects and disconnection protection.

The strongest reasons to choose Pro are therefore specific: 1080p output, more destinations, more guests, more co-host seats, longer recording limits, longer storage and larger or longer media allowances. If none of those affects your actual show, the higher plan may not solve a problem you have.

Streamlabs describes Talk Studio as a browser-based studio for live streaming and recording, with tools such as screen sharing, scheduling and local recording of individual participants' raw audio and video. Its official feature page is the better place to verify the current product description, while the plans page is the place to verify the limits attached to a subscription.

Monthly billing versus annual billing

Monthly and annual billing answer different questions. Monthly billing reduces the commitment: you pay the listed monthly amount for the current billing period and can reassess later. Annual billing makes a larger payment for the year, while the page presents a lower monthly equivalent.

For Standard, the comparison is $9 each month against $90 for annual billing. Twelve monthly payments at the displayed monthly rate would total $108 before any checkout-specific matters, whereas the displayed annual amount is $90. For Pro, the comparison is $17 each month against $145 for annual billing. Twelve monthly payments at the displayed monthly rate would total $204, whereas the displayed annual amount is $145.

Those comparisons explain why Streamlabs describes annual membership as discounted relative to monthly payment. They do not establish your currency conversion, taxes, payment-provider charges or any renewal term that is not shown to you. Do not convert the displayed dollar figures into a guaranteed Indian-rupee amount before reaching checkout.

A practical decision is to match billing to certainty. Choose monthly billing if you are testing a new format, still deciding whether Talk Studio fits your production routine, or expect your use of the higher limits to change. Annual billing may make more sense when you already know that you will use the plan throughout the year and are comfortable with the larger upfront charge.

Before selecting annual billing, write down which limits you are paying for. For example, if the reason is 1080p output and two destinations, those are clear Pro requirements. If the reason is simply that the displayed monthly equivalent looks lower, remember that the actual payment is the annual total shown at checkout.

The same discipline helps if you run a 24/7 channel. Talk Studio is a live streaming and recording studio, not automatically a replacement for every unattended broadcast workflow. If your main need is to loop a prepared file continuously, first confirm that the product's current features and limits match that operating pattern. Our guide to streaming recorded exam classes 24/7 on YouTube is useful for thinking through the source-file and channel side of that decision.

The seven-day trial and Ultra inclusion

The current English plans page advertises a free seven-day trial. Treat the trial as a chance to test the workflow, not as proof that every device, browser, guest connection or destination will work for your particular production.

Use the trial to test the parts that are expensive to discover later. Check whether your intended output resolution is available, whether the number of destinations matches your show, whether guests can join comfortably, and whether recordings can be retrieved in the way you expect. If you rely on prerecorded material, test the file size and duration against the relevant plan allowance.

Also test the handover between people. A creator may be comfortable starting a broadcast, while a co-host or producer may need to manage the session when the creator is away. The published seat limits help with planning, but a trial should show whether the actual roles and permissions fit your routine.

Streamlabs says Talk Studio Pro is included with Streamlabs Ultra. That does not automatically make Ultra the better purchase for every Talk Studio user. Ultra is a separate product decision, and you should compare its current scope, price and terms with buying Talk Studio Pro directly. Do not assume that inclusion means every Ultra feature is relevant to your channel.

There is also conflicting older or regional information online. A Portuguese-Brazil pricing page found during research described Standard and Pro as free, while the current English page lists paid Standard and Pro plans and a seven-day trial. The reviewed pages do not explain whether that difference reflects legacy copy, regional treatment or another offer. For an English-language price comparison, use the current English plans page and check your own account region.

Which plan fits which workflow

Start with the programme rather than the plan name. Ask what you will send, where you will send it, how many people will appear, how long the recording will be and how long you need the files to remain available.

Workflow requirement More likely fit Reason
One destination, 720p output and a small team Standard It covers the published one-destination and 720p requirements
1080p output for a presentation or interview Pro Pro lists 1080p output
Simultaneous delivery to several platforms Pro Pro lists unlimited destinations
Up to five guests and three co-host seats Standard Those are Standard's published guest and seat limits
A larger panel or more operating staff Pro Pro lists up to 11 guests and five co-host seats
Recordings under four hours with shorter retention Standard Standard lists four hours per track and 15 days of storage
Longer recordings or more time to retrieve files Pro Pro lists 10 hours per track and 30 days of storage
A larger intro file or up to two hours of prerecorded content Pro Pro lists the larger media allowances

A devotional channel with one presenter and one destination may have no reason to pay for Pro merely because it is the higher plan. A local news discussion with several guests, 1080p graphics and distribution to multiple platforms has a clearer case for Pro. A study channel should examine recording duration and storage as carefully as output resolution, especially if classes are long and files need to be recovered after the broadcast.

For an always-on YouTube channel, separate the studio question from the reliability question. A browser-based studio can help with scheduled shows, guests and recordings, but a prepared loop has different risks from a live interview. If your existing computer freezes while looping, read the practical advice on stopping OBS from freezing while looping videos on YouTube. If the problem is a file that stops after one pass, see how to fix an FFmpeg YouTube stream that stops after one loop.

For a channel that must continue while your own computer is switched off, StreamNeo removes the need to keep a local machine running by letting you upload the video, add your YouTube stream key and have the broadcast monitored and restarted automatically if it drops. That solves a specific unattended-file problem, rather than changing which Talk Studio plan includes a given guest or resolution limit.

Check the offer before paying

Do not make the final decision from a copied price table. Open the current Streamlabs plans page while signed in or ready to sign in, select the plan and billing frequency, and read the checkout summary before confirming payment.

Check four things in particular. First, confirm whether the amount is monthly or an annual charge. Second, confirm the currency and the amount that will actually be presented to you. Third, review the features and limits attached to the selected plan. Fourth, read the trial and cancellation wording shown for your account.

Streamlabs' support guidance says billing information can be managed by logging into the account used to buy the subscription, opening Account Settings and going to Billing. It describes invoices, payment information and cancellation through the Subscriptions area via Change Plan. The support article was last updated on 9 October 2025, so labels may have changed since then. Use the Talk Studio billing guide as a reference, then follow the labels currently visible in your account.

The support material says that cancellation leaves paid features active through the period already paid and avoids a renewal charge for the next period. Treat that as the published policy described in the guide, and confirm the wording presented during cancellation. Keep the confirmation or invoice for your own records.

The plans page lists PayPal and credit card as accepted payment methods. Payment availability can still depend on the checkout flow and account region, so do not assume a method will appear before you reach the payment screen.

Finally, check whether your channel needs Talk Studio at all. A multiguest show may benefit from its browser-based controls, while a simple prerecorded loop may be better evaluated through a workflow designed around a single file and unattended running. You can also review whether a 24/7 loop has separate rights and platform considerations in our guide to monetising a 24/7 looped stream. A plan decision cannot settle copyright or YouTube policy questions for you.

Before committing, compare the operating options on the pricing page. When the file and channel are ready, start free — 24-hour trial, no card.

FAQ

Is Streamlabs Talk Studio Standard billed monthly or annually?

The English plans page lists Standard at $9 per month or $90 billed yearly, with the annual option displayed as a $7.50 per month equivalent. The annual figure is an annual charge, not twelve separate monthly payments, and your checkout should be treated as the final reference.

What is the main difference between Standard and Pro?

Standard lists 720p output, one destination, up to five guests and four hours per track. Pro lists 1080p output, unlimited destinations, up to 11 guests and 10 hours per track, along with longer storage and larger media allowances.

Does the seven-day trial guarantee that I will not be charged?

The current English plans page advertises a free seven-day trial, but you should read the trial and billing terms shown during your own signup. Do not rely on an old screenshot or a regional page with different wording.

Can I cancel and keep using Talk Studio?

Streamlabs' billing guidance says cancellation leaves paid features active through the period already paid and prevents renewal for the next period. Confirm the current wording in your account and retain the cancellation confirmation.
